Motorsport: Australia to take officiating to next level

Motorsport Australia is elevating its officiating standards by accepting and implementing all 37 recommendations from a comprehensive Officials’ Working Group report. With over 10,000 licensed officials vital to running events smoothly, the organization aims to enhance officiating quality and experiences.

Plans include improving technology, offering better training, creating structured pathways for growth, and ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for officials. Chaired by Ed Ordynski, the group gathered insights from active and lapsed officials nationwide, leading to a detailed set of recommendations. 

Motorsport Australia President Andrew Fraser commended the Working Group for their thorough recommendations, emphasizing the importance of enhancing officiating levels.
